J.Fletcher ( Engineers ) Ltd has acquired the business of William Birch ( Engineering ) Ltd.

The business is now part of the Fletcher Machinery manufacturing division, created from the previous acquisitions of :-

• Parex- Mather Ltd, ( Textile & Non Woven Dry Finishing and Coating Machnery ).
• Sir James Farmer Norton ( UK ) Ltd ( Textile Wet Finishing Machinery )
• Callow Engineering Ltd. ( Solids Handling machinery, rotary valves etc.)

All companies with long standing worldwide reputations in their sectors.

The Fletcher machinery division has operated successfully now for some five years although the underlying businesses and international installed customer base is far greater. The Birch product range expands the range of machinery supplied to the paper, plastics and textile industries.

J.Fletcher ( Engineers ) Ltd. has its core activities in building services, heating, ventilation, structural steelwork, process pipework and engineering services for the construction, pharmaceutical and utilities markets. The company has a highly skilled and diverse engineering management and workforce covering the major engineering disciplines.
