80 BA HD Tyre Cord Joining Machine

The BIRCH 80 BA HD Tyre Cord Joining Machine is designed for permanent installation in continuous tyre cord dipping lines.

It joins all types of textile tyre cord fabric with 12 rows of double-thread locking chain stitch, providing an overlap seam with up to 10,000 kg of tensile strength.

Its state-of-the art mechanical design and control system allow for a typical 185 cm seam to be sewn in 28 seconds. The full cycle time (sewing and sewing head return to initial position) for such a seam is under 60 seconds. This translates into minimum accumulator storage required for a non-stop dipping operation.
