BIRCH R series

The BIRCH R sewing head is designed for heavy fabrics, carpets and non-wovens. It can sew wet or dry fabrics. Two versions of sewing heads are available (see below) to allow a perfect match with your fabrics. The join (perfect butt, overlap, or gap) enables continuous processing to be carried out right across the joint.

BIRCH R-SS8

The BIRCH R-SS8 (shown on right) is mounted on a mobile stand, with the sewing head positively driven in both directions and running on aluminium rails, resulting in perfectly straight seams. Adjustable stops at either end of the carriage rails enable semi-automatic operation.

All parts in contact with the fabric are rust proofed.

BIRCH R-SS7

The BIRCH R-SS7 is a more compact design and comes on a portable stand.

Sewing heads for R-SS7 and R-SS8

Type '1R': for 65 mm stitch width and up to 30 mm combined material thickness.

Type '4R': for 25 mm stitch width and up to 12 mm combined material thickness.
